Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday held a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The outcome of the meeting was, however, not disclosed.
Both Obasanjo, Jonathan, First Lady Patience Jonatha, and the visiting President of Benin Republic, Boni Yayi had earlier worshiped at the Aso Villa Chapel.
The three leaders also visited the Children’s Church within the Presidential Villa.
Meanwhile, a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, said that Presidents Jonathan and Yayi held bilateral talks.
The talks, according to Abati, focuses on areas of strengthening development cooperation between Nigeria and Benin Republic.
Abati said the two leaders discussed trade and economic relations.
He, however, explained that Obasanjo did not participate in the talks.
