2015: Bode George, Oyinlola, Oni, Daniel, Fayose, Akala, others meet in Lagos

bode_george2TO consolidate their last week’s formal endorsement of the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 election, leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in South-West will meet on Tuesday.

Also on the agenda of the meeting, which will hold in Ikoyi, Lagos, is how to take back the zone from the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and the Labour Party (LP), starting from the 2014 governorship elections in Osun and Ekiti states.

The ACN is in control of Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun and Ekiti while LP controls Ondo.

To chair the meeting is the leader of the party in the zone, Chief Olabode George.

Expected are former governors Olagunsoye Oyinlola (Osun), Gbenga Daniel (Ogun), Adebayo Alao-Akala (Oyo), Olagunsoye Oyinlola (Osun), Olusegun Agagu (Ondo), Ayo Fayose (Ekiti), Segun Oni (Ekiti), Otunba Johnson Fasawe, Chief Shuaibu Oyedokun and others.
