Globacom Premier League leading goal scorer, Dele Olorundare has vowed to end his away goal draught soon as he leads Sunshine Stars’ attack in Saturday’s week 26 cracker against league leaders, Kano Pillars in Akure.
The powerful forward leads the pack with 12 goals but with stiff competition from Enyimba FC of Aba’s Bishop Onyendo who has 11 goals to his credit and Warri Wolves’ Oghenekaro Etebo, who has scored 10 goals.
However, the home-based Super Eagles player is not happy over his failure to score goals on the road as all his 12 goals were scored on home soil.
”I know I need to prove my goal scoring ability beyond reasonable doubt and that is to get goals away from home.
”I am not in anyway under pressure because of this but I know it is important for me to score as that would aside from proving my goal scoring ability, help my team get good results in our away matches,” said the prolific striker.
