Nigerian Sports Award: Nomination Closes Sept 7

The nomination phase of the second edition of the Nigerian Sports Award (NSA) closes on Saturday, September 7, 2013.

According to Kayode Idowu, General Unmissable Incentives Limited, organisers of the award, the closing of nomination is in line with the 2013 award process time line which stipulated that entries for nomination opens between July 1 and September 7, 2013.

Commenting on the volume of nominations received so far for this year’s award, Kayode Idowu revealed that the numbers of entries are very encouraging and are far improvement from the first edition.

He then call on other sports loving Nigerians who are yet to nominate to take advantage of the time left between now and 7 to nominate their outstanding sports men and women for the different categories of the award.

Idowu stressed further that after the closing of entries on 7th, there will entries verification between September 9th and 11th while the award panel will meet on September 12th to compile the list of top three in all categories of the award after which, a press conference will be held to announce short list for finalists and public voting for sport man and woman of the year.
