LMC shifts league games for Eagles

All match day 30 of the Globacom Premier League would be played on Sunday, the League Management Company has said.

The matches were shifted by 24 hours due to the 2014 World Cup qualifier involving Nigeria’s Super Eagles and the Flames of Malawi, which is scheduled for the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar on Saturday.

In the fixtures for the week, league leaders, Kano Pillars will play away to relegation threatened Nasarawa United in a game of two teams with contrasting ambitions.

While Pillars will storm Lafia for points to enhance their chances of lifting the league shield while the Solid Miners will go for the full points which they need to brighten their survival chances.

In Kaduna, Kwara United will be the guest of Kaduna United, while Gombe United will take on Warri Wolves just as Enyimba will play host to Lobi Stars and Heartland will engage Bayelsa United in Owerri.

In other matches,, Sharks and Akwa United will tango, Nembe United will clash with Dolphins, ABS versus El Kanemi and Rangers will confront Wikki Tourists
