The authority and management of Egba-Obafemi Community Grammar School (EOCGS) located in Obafemi-Owode local government area of Ogun State have commended old students of the institution for the renovation of the buildings, which include the staff quarters of the school.

The Principals of Senior and Junior School gave the commendation in a letter of appreciation jointly signed by them and forwarded to the old students’ association of the school, which was founded in September 1977.

The management in the letter dated February 3, 2025 pointed out that if not for the efforts of the old students association in making the staff quarters more habitable, teachers might not be able to attend to students

‘In hereby write on behalf of the entire staffs and students of Egba Obafemi Community Grammar School, Senior and Junior to acknowledge the renovation of the staff quarter and to appreciate the efforts of the old students association in making the place habitable for staffs’, the letter reads

‘Had you not come to rescue the situation teachers might not be able to at all to attend to students. I therefore express our profound gratitude for your concern and kind gesture’, the management wrote.

The letter emphasized that the magnanimity of the old students will boost the morale of the teachers in teaching the students for better success, and prayed that God will continue to bless the association

‘It is also our hope that your magnanimity will boost the morale of the teachers in teaching the students for better success. May God in His infinite mercy continue to bless the association and grant all the members peace all through. Once again, thank you one, thank you all’, the letter stated
