The Independent Campaign Group (ICG) of KOK Mandate Group on Sunday deployed 372 Polling Booth Ambassadors (PBAs) to 186 polling units in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area to canvass voters for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and governorship candidate Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat of the All Progressives Congress.
Presenting N10,000 as mobilisation grant to each ambassador, group leader and former chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Hon Kehinde Bamigbetan, urged the ambassadors to use the fund prudently to paste posters and engage only voters registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The group also launched 10,000 explainer cards on 50 Achievements of President Bola Tinubu to equip ambassadors to canvass for votes and mobilise holders of Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It promised to distribute the manifesto of Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (KOH) as Governor of Lagos State in the forthcoming general elections.
Earlier, Hon Bamigbetan trained the PBAs on how to use the INEC voters’ register to micro-target voters and canvass them to vote for President Tinubu.
He said PBAs are expected to report whether their prospects respond positively or negatively to the programme’s monitoring group for follow-up.
Bamigbetan said the group’s micro-targeting programme is more prudent in terms of cost and more efficient in terms of time than door-,to-,door and roadshow canvassing methods.

Prioritises micro-targeting of verified voters.
Hon. Bamigbetan opened the session by thanking leaders, youth leaders, stakeholders and members present. He emphasised that the KOK Mandate movement is not merely an electoral machine but a deliberate platform for nurturing democrats within the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the liberation of the downtrodden and underprivileged citizens of Nigeria.
His words: Without true democrats, there is no democracy. True democrats respect the will of the majority, while autocratic individuals resort to violence, rigging, or the misuse of power to oppress the people.”.
Drawing on his record as former Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Bamigbetan noted that past delivery of free school uniforms to pupils, free furnitures and free neals boosted the party’s electoral support and
built goodwill for the KO Mandate Group. He stressed that civic education and capacity-building must precede the assumption of office, describing the KOK Mandate as “a laboratory for democracy.”
The group, he added, does not disband after elections; it remains intact as a long-term movement dedicated to sustained engagement rather than transactional politics.

The Polling Booth Ambassadors programme carries the slogan “PBA – Target the voters; the rest will follow.”
Bamigbetan outlined three forms of canvassing: road shows (high-visibility but short-term), door-to-door visits (broad but less precise), and micro-targeting (focused exclusively on registered voters) The current programme adopts the third approach. Registered voter lists for each polling unit will be distributed through ward chairmen. Ambassadors will receive booklets in which to record the outcome of every household visit. Unsuccessful engagements will be followed up by a secondary team. The ten-week programme requires every ambassador to cover the full list assigned to their unit. Data gathered will also guide targeted empowerment interventions such as POS machines and other voter-support initiatives.
In his closing remarks, Hon. Bamigbetan reaffirmed the group’s full commitment to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the election of Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as Governor of Lagos State, and urged members to work toward the same goal.
During the question-and-answer session, a member asked whether PBAs would also serve as election-day agents. Bamigbetan clarified that the ambassadors’ role is limited to voter canvassing; agent deployment remains the responsibility of the party and its candidates. Another participant sought assurance regarding support should difficulties arise while pasting campaign materials. Bamigbetan confirmed that adequate provisions have been made to address such contingencies.
The training marks a significant step in the KOK Mandate Group organised and professional approach to grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.
