rangers_of_enuguThe Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Barrister Musa Amadu has assured the management of Rangers International Football Club of Enugu of getting a cheerful verdict from the appeal filed on behalf of the country’s representative in the CAF Confederations Cup Enugu Rangers and they are optimistic that the Flying Antelopes will be reinstated in the CAF Confederation Cup on July 20.

In a letter acknowledging receipt of Rangers appeal to the organising and disciplinary committee decision to kick them out of the CAF Confederation Cup, CAF secretary general confirmed that the appeals committee will sit on July 20 to decide on their petition.

NFF Secretary General, Musa Amadu, said ” We have put together all available evidence that Emmanuel Daniel was duly cleared to play for Rangers.

“He was not listed by Shooting Stars for the present season and as such cannot be a Shooting Stars player.

“We would also make effort to have CAF understand the peculiarities in the last two seasons in the Nigeria Premier league.”

CAF kicked out Rangers from the Confederation Cup for allegedly fielding an ineligible player against CS Sfaxien of Tunisia.
