Nigerian actor Charles Okocha defeated singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, in a celebrity boxing match at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Lagos.

The bout, organised by Balmoral Group Promotions, attracted fans and celebrities following weeks of social media exchanges between the two entertainers.

Charles was declared winner after the contest, ending the rivalry that had generated widespread interest on social media ahead of the event.

In a post-fight interview shared on social media, Charles celebrated his victory, saying, “I defeated him,” while expressing satisfaction with his performance.

Portable, however, disputed the outcome shortly after the fight, insisting that he won the contest despite the official decision.

Videos circulating on social media showed the singer leaving the ring, while maintaining that he had won the bout.

The celebrity boxing event also featured appearances by boxing personalities and commentators, including British broadcaster Ben Davis, alongside entertainment performances.

Reactions have continued on social media, with many users praising the entertainment value of the event while debating the outcome of the fight.

The contest formed part of the “Chaos in the Ring” celebrity boxing series, promoted as a blend of sports and entertainment to attract a wider audience.
