Warri Wolves land in Congo for AC Leopards

Nigeria’s representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Warri Wolves Football Club, have arrived in Congo ahead of crucial Sunday’s group stage play-off, first leg clash in the CAF Confederation Cup against AC Leopards.
The Seasiders will be hoping to upset their hosts who had previously eliminated Nigerian sides Heartland FC and Kano Pillars on the continent.
Wolves have an impressive record in this year’s competition, winning five of their six matches and playing a 0-0 draw against Dedebit FC away in Ethiopia after a 2-0 first leg win.
The country’s surviving representatives on the continent will have a feel of the match venue, Stade Dennis Sassou Nguesso, on Saturday evening. The match is scheduled to start on Sunday by 3pm Nigeria time.
