West Ham United debutant Victor Moses has lauded the contributions of Dimitri Payet, Diafra Sakho and Manuel Lanzini in the Hammers’ 2-0 triumph over Newcastle United.
Slaven Bilic’s men were in scintillating form and proved superior to the Magpies across the pitch.
On-loan Chelsea winger Moses impressed and gave the West Ham faithful a taste of what’s to come with a pacey, powerful display.
The 24-year old was happy with his Upton Park bow and highlighted the quality of his team-mates in helping him to settle.
“I think I’ve settled in quickly. I just wanted to go out there and enjoy it. Everything fell into place and it felt good out there,” he said.
“You can see that we’ve got a lot of quality. Going forward we were all enjoying ourselves. Payet and Sakho were excellent and Lanzini as well. Our full-backs pushed on well which also helped, we just enjoyed ourselves really.”
The victory was West Ham’s third of the season and takes them up to fifth place in the table.
