UCL play-offs: Yobo’s Fenerbahce battle Arsenal

joseph_yoboJoseph Yobo and Nigerian team mate, Emmanuel Emenike will lead Turkish team, Fenerbahce’s bid to upstage Arsenal for a place in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Fenerbahce will host Arsenal in the first leg of the playoff in the weekend of August 20/21.

However, the participation of Fenerbahçe and FC Metalist Kharkiv of Ukraine in the competition is subject to pending disciplinary and CAS proceedings.

Another Nigeria star Efe Ambrose will be in action for his Scottish club Celtic as they face unknown Kazakhstan team, Shakhter Karagandy.

Shakhter are the first Kazakhstan team to reach this stage of the competition
