Super Eagles chief coach, Stephen Keshi, is unmoved over the current position of the Super Eagles in the latest rankings released by world football governing body, FIFA.
The African champions remain in 35th place with 700 ranking points on the latest classification for July 2013 released by FIFA on Thursday.
However, Keshi who became the first Nigerian to win the Africa Cup of Nations title as a captain and coach says he has no issues with the Eagles’ current position on the rankings.
“I don’t know how the rankings work so I am not worried about it. What I am worried about is seeing my team play well,” Keshi said shortly after the latest rankings were released.
The Super Eagles are still the fifth best ranked team in Africa behind the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Mali and Algeria.
Spain, Germany, Colombia, Argentina and the Netherlands are the top five nations in the world according to the rankings.
