The United States has reportedly introduced a 15-point peace proposal aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict with Iran with Pakistan playing a key intermediary role in conveying the plan to Tehran.

According to international media reports, including Israeli broadcaster N12, the proposal outlines key conditions, including Iran’s commitment to abandon any pursuit of nuclear weapons and transfer its enriched uranium stockpile to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

U.S.-based outlet Axios, citing sources familiar with the discussions, reported that Steve Witkoff, a special envoy, informed President Donald Trump that Iran had shown willingness to accept some of the proposed terms.

Among the reported concessions is Iran’s agreement to relinquish its reserves of highly enriched uranium, a key concern in the ongoing tensions.

However, details of Tehran’s official position remain unclear, as noted in reports by The New York Times which indicated that Iran’s formal response is still pending.

The reaction of Israel another major party involved in the broader conflict, has also not been confirmed.

President Trump, speaking on the negotiations, expressed optimism that progress was being made, stating that Iran appeared eager to reach a deal.

He also confirmed that senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance are actively involved in the diplomatic efforts.

The development marks a significant step in ongoing international attempts to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East and prevent further escalation of the conflict.
