Toronto was the place to be as Oba Joseph Adewole, the Ajero of Ijero Ekiti, and Queen Yemisi Adewole, gave their beautiful daughter, Princess Oyinkansola, away in marriage.

Guests flew in from the U.S., UK, Nigeria, and across Canada to witness the grand two-day affair.

*The Engagement: Held at Viceroy Banquet Hall, Vaughan, it was colorful, classy and well attended.
Dad, Oba Adewole, called his daughter “God-fearing, brilliant and substantial.”
Mum, Olori Yemisi, said she’s “the happiest woman on earth.”

*The Vows:
Groom Adewale: _“Oyinkansola is the best decision I’ve ever made. She’s the password to my life.”
Bride Oyinkansola: _“He’s an answered prayer. Exactly what I asked God for.”

*How it started: Four years ago at a friend’s wedding. One Snapchat photo posted by John. One “Who’s that?” from Adewale. And the rest is history.

Bishop Cornelius Adagbada charged the couple to put God first, while Pastor Oladimeji Faulkner coordinated the service.

Beaming with smiles, Ajero said he was fulfilled because there’s no joy greater than to see your daughter grow up as a good girl.

“I feel so happy. I feel fulfilled. I thank God for this milestone in Oyinkansola’s life. She has always been a good girl. A darling daughter.
“It’s always a thing of joy to raise your daughter, to see her grow up as a good girl, and she is succeeding with her life, doing well and making us happy.
“This is a great progress for me as the father and for the entire family.
“There’s no greater joy than to hand her over to her heartthrob so they can start making their own family.
We consider today as the day the Lord has made and we are rejoicing in it”; said the Kabiyesi.

Olori Yemisi Adewole, visibly emotional, said her daughter has “always been a good child who lives with consideration for others,” adding that the day made her “the happiest woman on earth.”

Mrs Dolly Olatunji, who flew in from London, United Kingdom said her joy was full because Oyinkansola “is special to her” and she was with her in London for a long time, always proving herself to be dedicated, talented, humble and sophisticated. She referred to herself as “Oyinkansola’s London mom”

The groom, Adewale, described Princess Oyinkansola as “the best thing that ever happened to me” and “the password to my life,” promising to love, care for, and commit his entire life to her.

In her response, the bride said Adewale was “an answered prayer” and exactly what she had asked God for, pledging her undiluted love and care.

The wedding service was coordinated by Pastor Oladimeji Faulkner. In his sermon, Bishop Cornelius Adagbada urged the couple to make God the pillar of their home.

The reception was held at Woodbine Banquet Hall. Royal fathers of the day included His Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and HRM Oba Adekunle Oyeyemi.
