The Super Eagles on Saturday defeated Jamaica National Football Team 3-0 in London to win their fourth Unity Cup title.
Midfielder Alhassan Yusuf scored a brace in the third and 91st minutes to help Nigeria successfully defend the title.
Yusuf opened the scoring early in the encounter before Terem Moffi doubled Nigeria’s advantage.
Moffi’s goal came after Femi Azeez beat his marker and delivered a cross into the penalty area, which the striker converted.
Yusuf sealed the victory in stoppage time when he connected with a pass from Phil Otele and fired beyond the Jamaican goalkeeper.
The Super Eagles had reached the final after defeating Zimbabwe National Football Team 2-0 in the semi-final.
Femi Azeez scored both goals in the semi-final victory.
The triumph earned Nigeria a fourth Unity Cup title and a second consecutive championship after defeating Jamaica in the previous edition.
The Unity Cup is an annual four-nation international football tournament held in London, featuring countries with large diaspora communities in the United Kingdom.
