Son kills mother, lynched in Enugu

The people of  Isiagu Ibagwa community of Igboeze South Local Government Area of Enugu State were on  Monday, thrown into mourning mood when  one Ifesinachi Ukwueze  killed his mother, Beatrice Ukwueze, with a cutlass over a yet to be established issue.
Police Public Relations Officer,  Enugu Police Command,  ASP Ebere Amaraizu, said that the killing angered irate mob who descended heavily on him and left him lifeless before the arrival of security operatives.
Bodies of mother and son have been deposited in a nearby mortuary just as a full scale investigation has commenced into the incident.
