Rep. Aminu Jaji of the All Progressives Congress in Zamfara State has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his re-nomination as running mate to President Bola Tinubu.
Jaji, who represents Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, described the decision as a strategic move that could strengthen the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The lawmaker made the remarks in a statement issued on Saturday in Gusau.
Jaji, who also serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Ecological Fund, said Shettima’s return to the presidential ticket was a wise and important political decision.
According to him, the re-nomination marks a major step toward securing victory for the APC at different levels in the next general elections.
He said the Tinubu-Shettima ticket had demonstrated political strength and would continue to enjoy support within the party.
Jaji congratulated Shettima and members of the APC, saying the development had provided a clear direction for the party’s 2027 campaign.
The federal lawmaker said Shettima deserved another opportunity to serve as Vice President under President Tinubu.
He noted that the President’s decision reflected confidence in Shettima’s loyalty, competence, experience and contributions to the current administration.
Jaji also praised the Vice President for what he described as his commitment to supporting the administration and advancing national development.
The lawmaker, who is the leader of the Jajiya Political Movement in Nigeria, said the movement had already endorsed the Tinubu-Shettima ticket for the 2027 presidential election.
He expressed confidence that Nigerians would again support the ticket at the polls.
According to him, the APC remains well-positioned to retain public trust and secure victory in the 2027 general elections.
