Security details of Senator Bukola Saraki have the withdrawn by the Nigeria police, it was learnt on Saturday.
Saraki is part of the breakaway faction of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), tagged the New PDP, which has Alhaji Kawu Baraje as National Chairman.
The New PDP has former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, seven PDP governors and several other prominent politicians as members.
The reasons for the withdrawal of Saraki’s security details could not be ascertained as at the time of this report.
