The Police Command in Ondo State has confirmed the disappearance of a 3-year-old boy, Adeola Olayemi, in Ode-Irele, Irele Local Government Area of the state. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, which occurred on May 7.
Speaking with our correspondence on Monday, DSP Abayomi Jimoh, the police spokesperson, confirmed the case and provided details of the ongoing investigation. According to Jimoh, two suspects have been arrested in connection with the child’s disappearance and are currently assisting detectives in uncovering the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following the report, police officers have intensified efforts to locate the missing child and clarify the situation. DSP Jimoh called on the public to remain calm and urged anyone with helpful information to assist the ongoing investigation.
Sources have revealed that Adeola had been living with his 64-year-old grandmother in the area before he went missing. Authorities continue their search for the child while ensuring that all leads are thoroughly investigated.
