Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State (Special Guest Speaker) delivered a ‘powerful address’ on Thursday, September 3 on the ‘2027 General Elections, Economy, Insecurity and Nigeria’s Future’ during the 7th yearly lecture of Freedom Online newspaper www.freedomonline.com.ng at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
Former Information and Culture Minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed (Chairman), and former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Gbenga Daniel (Special Guest of Honour), also attended the event.
Others present included 2027 PDP governorship candidate in Ogun State, Hon. Ladi Adebutu; his running mate, Alhaja Lateefat Yemi Kolapo-Showumi; Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams; former Presidential Spokesman, Chief Femi Adesina; former President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), Mrs. Funke Egbemode; NGE President and Editor of Vanguard, Mr. Eze Anaba, and Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso.
