Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), Tayo Oluwatuyi (Tukana), is dead.

A source said he died on Saturday after succumbing to injuries he sustained in a road accident before last Christmas.

He said: “Who are we to question God. Everything was done to ensure that he came out alive. But, he died a few hours ago. It is just unfortunate. You know he was a popular politician in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a great mobiliser in Akure. Expectedly, people are already mourning and crying. We are going to miss him”.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa approved his appointment as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in January, 2024.
