Billionaire businessman, Dr Tunde Ayeni, has finally put behind him the controversy over the paternity of Omarosa, daughter of one Adaobi Alagwu.

According to close family sources of the business icon, all available evidence has established his (Ayeni’s) innocence in the paternity saga, consequently nullifying any form of relationship with Alagwu.

According to them, Ayeni has since focused his energy on the growth of his business and care for his beloved family and friends.

“He is in high spirits and ready to take his business empire to the next level. No form of distractions again,” a close family source said.

Recall that Ayeni recently swore an affidavit disavowing any connection with Alagwu’s daughter and has formally withdrawn any consent for the child to bear his family name.

Recall also that a DNA test conducted to determine the paternity was discredited as evidence showed that the result was tampered with.

To further prove his innocence and stop illegal use of his family name, the businessman’s lawyer wrote Adaobi with clear instruction to desist from using any international passport bearing his family name. The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) was copied in the letter.

This was followed by a “Cease and Desist” letter issued by him, demanding that Alagwu should stop the use of his family name in connection with her child. And wherein she refuses to remove the use of the family name, then it is certainly another Ayeni.

In a recent legal affidavit sworn before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ayeni reiterated his stance that the said child does not belong to him.

The affidavit, signed by Dr Tunde Ayeni, read in part:

“Ms. Alagwu manipulated me into believing that I was the biological father of her daughter, Omarosa Abimbola Ayeni.

“The DNA result claimed by Ms. Alagwu is incorrect, as she tampered with the process by hacking into my wife’s email to manipulate the results.

“I withdraw any consent previously given for Ms. Alagwu to use my family name for her daughter.

“I have no legal obligations or affection toward Ms. Alagwu or her daughter, and I demand that she cease all contact and communication with my family and friends”.

Meanwhile, the Ayeni family has also formally dissociated their son from Alagwu and her daughter. They noted that even if anything had earlier existed between them, the recent affidavit, DNA outcome and the directive to NIS invalidate such.

“This should put a permanent reference to this case. Our son (Tunde Ayeni) by virtue of the affidavit, the DNA saga and directives to the Nigeria Immigration Service has foreclosed any form of relationship or fatherly role with Adaobi Alagwu or her daughter and our son,” a family representative said.

In addition, the Ayeni Obaniwa family of Iyah-Gbede in Kogi State also earlier issued a formal statement distancing themselves from any form of relationship with the Alagwu family.

Reacting to the insinuation that certain rites prior to the birth of the child for the child, a family member quipped: “So let’s even assume that it was so , it has long been reversed in the presence of the representatives of both families. The position now is that Ada and her daughter have no relationship with our son again, and that brings the issue to a close”.

Freedom Online learned that the businessman has since stopped seeing the lady and has remained firm in his position that it has long been over between him and the lady.

When contacted by our Correspondent, Dr Ayeni noted that he has since moved on, “and any insinuation of visitation must be from the imagination of some idiots, trying to drag me back to the past. I have moved on, and I dont look back when I move. I no longer have anything whatsoever to do with Ada, her daughter or any member of her family.
“I had made my mistakes in that I should never have gone into that relationship in the first place, but since I came out of it, I have become a better person for myself, my family and my friends, as the humbling experience has made me wiser, especially in relation to where I ought not to be found under any circumstances.
“Please, spare me this matter in its entirety. This is a new year and I want to start the year with a productive discussion rather than this nonsense. What you are talking about is part of my past. It would never be part of my present or my future. I advise you to ask Ada, who is the father of her daughter. Ada knows the father of her daughter, and Ada knows that we parted ways a while past and I can not go back to my vomit. I no longer have anything to do with her. Rather, this is a time for me to appreciate and thank God Almighty for His Grace and Mercy, appreciate my family for standing firm with me and also my friends who are very dear to me for their loyalty, support and understanding throughout this period and now”.
