Omoregie’s world U-20 60m hurdles record ratified

The IAAF has ratified three world records, including David Omoregie’s world Under-20 60m hurdles mark of 7.50 which equals the record time run by Konstadinos Douvalidis in 2006.
Omoregie ran that mark in 2014 but ratification of the record was delayed by a number of factors, the main one being that his performance was achieved on the same day that Wilhem Belocian ran 7.48 in Val de Reuil and therefore was not submitted for ratification until it was confirmed that Belocian’s performance did not meet the ratification requirements.
Konrad Bukowiecki’s throw of 22.48m with the 6kg shot put has also been ratified as an under-20 indoor record, while Eliza McCartney’s world under-20 pole vault record of 4.64m has also been ratified, bettering the 4.63m cleared indoors by Angelica Bengtsson in 2011.
