Social media erupted over the weekend following the ongoing feud between popular Nigerian media personality Frank Edoho and his estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya.
The couple, married in 2014 and parents to two children, have been at the center of a heated online debate after private accusations about infidelity and financial disputes surfaced. A leaked audio suggested Edoho accused Onyenucheya of an affair with Nigerian singer Chike, while she denied the allegations and accused Edoho of cheating and emotional abuse.
On her Instagram account, Onyenucheya described Edoho as a “deadbeat,” claiming she financially supported the family during their marriage. In response, Edoho denied these claims and reiterated that the alleged affair was the primary reason for the breakdown of their union.
The online fallout quickly divided social media users. Some sympathized with Onyenucheya, emphasizing the emotional and financial burdens women often bear in marriages. X user @Presh_Adah commented, “Women endure a lot just to keep their homes together until they get to their breaking point.” Others defended Edoho, noting his long-standing career and questioning claims of financial dependence.
Fans also reacted to the alleged involvement of singer Chike. Some criticized his supposed role, while others expressed support for him, with one Instagram user suggesting that Chike could be a more suitable partner for Sandra now that she is divorced.
Amid the online arguments, several commentators urged caution, noting the public nature of the dispute and its potential impact on the couple’s children. @susylicious2023 wrote, “Two adults dragging themselves on the internet over infidelity and money—whatever happened to settling divorces quietly behind closed doors, especially because of the kids?”
The feud continues to trend across social media platforms, sparking conversations about marital conflicts, celebrity privacy, and online public opinion.
