“The Chief of Staff to the state governor, Dr Kola Ademujimi, is the head of the Committee, while Mr Kayode Akinmade and Mrs Nike Ademujimi, both Commissioners for Information and Commerce and Industry respectively would serve as members”.

“Others are Mr Nicholas Tofowomo, Commissioner for Transport, Hon Jumoke Akindele, Hon Soji Akinkuolie, Mr Eni Akinsola, Evangelist Niyi Pirisola, Mrs O. Ajayi and Mr Ife Fasoranti with Rev Soji Gbadebo as Secretary”.

Mimiko had during a condolence visit to the Ikoyi home of the Agagus on Sunday, said the late former governor “was a very brilliant man who possessed a remarkable ability for hardwork which was evident as he gave his best to the state first, as Deputy Governor (in the old Ondo State) and later, as Governor.”

Mimiko, who expressed shock on the death of the late Agagu, said the departed’s recent physical and political vigour “belied the possibility of this occurrence,” and counselled all to take solace in the fact that Agagu,” was an early achiever who scaled dizzying heights in the academic, political and social circles in the country.”

While praying for the repose of the soul of the departed, Mimiko assured the family of the love and prayers of the people and government of Ondo State “at this period”.
