The command also confirmed the death of another victim, Yakubu Isah, after an attack by unknown gunmen.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Udeme Edet, confirmed the incident on Friday in Makurdi.
Edet said the victims were attacked while returning from a security meeting in Ohimini Local Government Area of the state.

According to her, the meeting ended successfully before the victims embarked on their journey home.
The police spokesperson said the victims were ambushed at a community in Otukpo Local Government Area.
She added that both Mohammed and Isah were killed during the attack by the assailants.
Edet said the command had begun a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killings.
