The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has deployed Mr Aliyu Abubakar-Musa as the new Commissioner of Police (CP), Katsina State Command.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Abubakar Aliyu, said this in a statement on Tuesday in Katsina.

The PPRO said, “Abubakar-Musa, who hails from Chanchaga Local Government Area in Niger State, is the 25th Commissioner of Police in the state.”

He said the new commissioner was enlisted into the NPF as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (C/ASP) on May 18, 1992.

Aliyu said that he held a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education (BA Education), from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.

“The new CP has served in various capacities across the geographical zones ranging from administration, investigation, and operational departments of the force.”

The PPRO added that Abubakar-Musa attended several courses within and outside the country.

“The CP seeks support of all and sundry in an effort to make the state more secured,” he said.
