Iran has accused the United States of disrupting ongoing diplomatic efforts, citing recent developments it claims are obstructing progress toward renewed negotiations.

Speaking during a phone conversation with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said actions by Washington, including what he described as provocations and ceasefire violations, were undermining trust.

According to Araghchi, incidents such as alleged attacks on Iranian commercial vessels and continued hostile rhetoric from the U.S. are creating significant challenges for diplomacy.

He noted that while Tehran remains open to engagement, it would carefully assess the situation before deciding whether to proceed with further talks.

Earlier, a spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that no new negotiations with the United States have been scheduled, indicating that discussions remain uncertain.

During the call, Pakistan urged both sides to resume dialogue promptly to promote peace and stability in the region.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Washington plans to dispatch another delegation to Islamabad ahead of the expiration of the current ceasefire.

Sources in Washington also confirmed that preparations are underway for the delegation’s departure.

A recent round of discussions between U.S. and Iranian officials in the Pakistani capital concluded without a major breakthrough, leaving the future of diplomatic engagement unclear.

The latest exchange highlights ongoing tensions between the two countries, even as international stakeholders continue to push for renewed negotiations.
