glo_logoLeading telecommunications operator, Globacom, has congratulated the Super Eagles for recording an important away win against the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the World Cup Qualifying match played on Wednesday in Nairobi.

In a statement on Wednesday, Globacom said the Super Eagles were unlimited in their performance against Kenya and urged them to sustain the momentum next week when they take on Namibia in Windhoek so as to consolidate on their chances of representing Africa at the mundial.

“The match was grueling. We commend the Super Eagles for their hardwork, unflagging concentration and never-say-die spirit which earned them the vital three away points,” the statement added.

Globacom observed that the victory had deepened the Super Eagles’ rating as African Champions, adding that they should be focused as they represent Africa at the Confederation Cup in Brazil from June 15 this year.

Globacom enjoined Nigerians not to relent in giving the much needed support to the Super Eagles through prevailing prayers so that they can go on to win more laurels for Nigeria.

Nigeria now leads Group F with 8 points, Malawi comes second with 6 points, while Namibia is third with 4 points as Kenya remains at the bottom of the table with 2 points.

Globacom is the major partner of the Nigeria Football Federation and official sponsor of the Nigeria national teams.
