N3.9bn Paris Club refund for salary arrears, says Fayemi

In a bid to reposition the education sector for better performance, Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has approved the appointment of Education Secretaries for the 16 Local Government Education Authorities in the state.
The appointment is coming barely a month after the Governor redeployed the former occupants of the positions in the 16 local government areas of the state.
The newly appointed Education Secretaries are:

1. MR. EGBEYEMI L. ADEWALE — IJERO
2. MR. AGBEKORODE SUNDAY– IDO-OSI
3. MRS. ADEYEYE EUNICE—OYE
4. MR. OGUNTUASE LASISI ADEREMI—IKOLE
5. MR. FAGBOHUN SAMUEL OLUWOLE– EKITI S/WEST
6. MR. FALOLA ADEBAYO JULIUS—IREPODUN/IFELODUN
7. MR. ADEGBAYE SUNDAY OLADELE—EKITI WEST
8. MR. OMOTOSO OLUWATOYIN—ADO
9. MRS. ADEGBOYEGBE COMFORT KEHINDE—EFON
10. MR. IBRAHIM FEMI GBENRO—IKERE
11. MR. AYEGBUSI BENSON OLUWOLE–ILEJEMEJE
12. MR. TAYO OGUNREMI—EMURE
13. MR. OSANYINTADE OLUWADARE OJO–GBONYIN
14. MRS. KOTILA OMONIYI CECELIA—MOBA
15. MR. ALONGE TEMITOPE ODUNAYO–ISE-ORUN
16. APALOWO OLUTAYO SUNDAY—EKITI EAST

The appointments take immediate effect.
