conference2The Emir of Minna, Alhaji Farouk Bahago, on Wednesday urged the Presidential Advisory Committee on National Dialogue to be fair and God-fearing in discharging its duties.

Bahago said this while receiving members of the Committee on a courtesy visit to his palace in Minna.

He said that being fair, honest and God-fearing in its assignment, would make the committee acceptable by Nigerians.

Bahago said that “if that is done, definitely, there will be peace, harmony and development in the country as Nigerians need nothing but the truth at this time.”

He commended President Goodluck Jonathan and the Federal Government for inaugurating the committee.

The Emir said that the integrity of the committee members would further enhance the basis of the National Dialogue.

The Chairman of the Committee, Sen. Femi Okurounmu, congratulated the Emir on his forthcoming 25th Anniversary scheduled to come up in November.

Okurounmu also applauded the Emir for his enlightened and peaceful leadership.
