*ASSOCIATION OF MASS COMMUNICATION GRADUATES (AMACOG ’92 SET)
Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta.
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that members of the AMACOG ’92 Set received the news of the sudden death of a dear distinguished member and friend, Mr. Dotun Oladipo, who was the Welfare Executive of the association.
It is an understatement to say that we are deeply grieved to learn of the passing of Oladipo, a highly-valued exco member of the association on Tuesday.
Oladipo, the Publisher of Eagle Online, beyond his professional dedication and the immense contributions he made to journalism through his Online news platform, also brought a unique warmth, kindness and energy to the set in numerous ways too many to number.
He was a mobiliser per excellence, a motivator, a goal getter, and highly passionate, qualities that he combined to bring positive energy and development to our dear association.
Oladipo’s commitment and dedication to our group will be greatly missed by everyone who had the opportunity of knowing him and working with him.
During this difficult time of sorrow, our thoughts and prayers are with the family of our dear friend, especially his lovely widow, Mrs. Taiwo Oladipo, popularly known as Ayaba. The AMACOG 92 Set shares in the grief of the mother, wife, children and the entire Oladipo family and extends our heartfelt condolences to the family at this critical time.
At this time, we pray that the family finds divine comfort and strength and in the cherished memories they had shared with our departed friend.
We sincerely believe that our departed course mate, friend and brother has gone to be with the saints and we pray for the repose of his soul. We pray that the Almighty God will comfort and strengthen his family and all members of the AMACOG ‘92 family.
Signed:
Adekunle Adeshina
President, AMACOG ’92 Set.
