Club Owners call for prayers for Pillars coaches

kano_pillarsClubs Owners of the Nigeria Premier League have sent a get well quick message to the technical crew members of Globacom League defending champion, Kano Pillars over the ghastly motor accident they had on their way back from Ilorin to Kano.

Acting Secretary of the club owners Alloy Chukwuemeka in a statement in Ilorin expressed the concern of the Association even as he described the incident as unfortunate. He said the entire clubs in the premier league received the news with shock and prayed for the quick recovery of all the injured persons as well as the repose of the soul of the mechanic who lost his life in the crash.

Meanwhile club owners have called on all the clubs and soccer followers across the country to embark on special prayers for journey mercies for all footballers as well as all travellers .

Chukwuemeka said the prayer became necessary in view of the numerous incident of road crashes Involving clubs. He urged stakeholders to seek God’s guidance before, during and after embarking on journeys.

The club owners scribe, however, said the next meeting of the Association would review all the insurance policies available to players and officials of clubs involved in the league.
