Afrobeat star Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has dived from a yacht into the open sea off Ibiza, Spain.

A video circulating on social media showed the Grammy-winning singer taking the plunge while members of his team watched from the yacht.

Burna Boy was later seen swimming in the sea after making the jump from the vessel.

One of his bodyguards also jumped into the water shortly after the singer, according to the video shared on X.

Burna Boy is in Ibiza, Spain, to headline the global launch of Luna Loca, a new live music concept at O Beach Ibiza.

According to Ibiza Spotlight, Luna Loca is a new live music concept created by British producer Steel Banglez in partnership with UM Beach Clubs & Lifestyle.

Burna Boy, who hails from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, rose to international prominence with his distinctive blend of Afrobeat, dancehall, reggae and hip-hop.

He also performed “Dai Dai” with Colombian singer Shakira at the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony in Mexico City in June and the final halftime show in July.

The music star has won several international awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album for his 2020 album, “Twice as Tall”.
