Ameobi wants Newcastle stay

Sammy Ameobi is believed to want to stay at Newcastle and will on Thursday meet manager Steve McClaren to decide his future.
The 23-year-old winger has been offered new contract by Newcastle United and been wanted by Cardiff City, Wolves, West Brom and Real Sociedad.
He already held talks with Cardiff City and Wolves bosses, he trained with ‘The Magpies’ on Wednesday and wanted to remain a Newcastle United player, according to media reports.
He is expected to go out on loan after he would have signed a new deal with Wolves and Cardiff City main contenders to take him in.
