Ameobi debuts for Cardiff City

Nigeria forward, Sammy Ameobi, debuted for his new club, Cardiff City, in a pre-season game on Saturday which they drew 2-2 with Shrewsbury Town.
The Newcastle United forward, who is on a season-long loan at the English Championship, started the game and showed flashes of what he can do.
Ameobi, in the ninth minute, made use of his height as his flicked a header, which found Joe Mason who was flagged offside, however.
He is expected to play major role in the team as they fight for a return to the English Premier League.
