Even as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is expected to come out with a verdict on the Libya/Nigeria delisted Africa Nations Qualifier this weekend, the Libyan Football Federation is already warming up for an appeal.

CAF President, Patrice Motsepe, spoke recently in Ethiopia during the Annual General Assembly of the body in harsh terms to condemn the 20-hour delay of the Super Eagles at the Al-Abraq Airport in Libya and he stated that the continental ruling body will enact a law to forestall future occurrence in future.

Our correspondent authoritatively learnt that a decision on the fiasco has been reached but the law to further back up the verdict is the reason for the delay.

Apparently sensing the bad case it has, the Libyan Football Federation is already warming up to appeal the expected verdict from CAF over the botched Africa Cup of Nations Cup qualifying match.

Sources in CAF informed that the verdict will be given this weekend. According to Libya Al-Ahrar Channel, quoting special sources, the Libyan Football Federation will appeal the decision if it loses the case.

The Confederation of African Football is expected to make a final decision on the Libya-Nigeria AFCON match this weekend.
