2019: Pray against disintegration, chaos, Pastor Ajayi tells Nigerians

The President of Christ Apostolic Mission Church, Worldwide, CAMC W/Wide, Pastor S.A. Ajayi, has charged Nigerians to pray fervently for the country over the 2019 general elections as the signs are fearful.
Ajayi, who stated in his speech to mark the 66th Annual Convention Thanksgiving Service of the church held at its headquarters at Abule-Egba, Lagos, on December 16, said for the time in a long while, main contenders in the presidential election are two from the Fulani extraction.

In his speech entitled: “National Burning Issues”, he said “the elections would be tough and turbulent no doubt. Nigerians need to prayer to avoid disintegration. May God forbid it – Amen.”

Ajayi condemned what he called  the “unprecedented level of brutality in the land in the last few months. The horrific scene in the North East echoes war.”

According to the President of CAMC, “We must work hard to avert another civil war, as no country has ever survived it.

“Nigerian politicians are the most artful in the world. Nigerian voters must therefore be watchful very well before voting for the candidates of their choice.”

He said the latest intrigues of politicians in Nigeria today is vote buying. “It is a dangerous trap being set by unscrupulous politicians to buy the conscience and votes of unsuspecting voters,” he said.

Ajayi, who admonished Nigerian leaders and politicians to desist from this vice, urged the media to work assiduously for the success of the 2019 elections.

He said Nigerians should not down play the spiritual help from God, adding, “Let us contact God in our prayers and ask Him to take over Nigeria.”
