With 446,237 votes, APC’s Ododo wins Kogi guber election; Ajaka 259,052, Melaye 46,362

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Sunday, declared the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Usman Ododo, as winner of Kogi State election conducted on Saturday.
The Chief Returning officer, Professor Johnson Oramah, who made the announcement in Lokoja, said Ododo scored 446,237 votes to defeat the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Mr Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, who got 259,052.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator Dino Melaye, came third with 46,362 votes.
