Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has appointed former Super Eagles Captain, Joseph Yobo, as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Sports Development.
This is contained in a statement on Tuesday in Port Harcourt by Mr Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media.
The statement said the governor also appointed Mr Chibuzor Aholu as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Financial Matters
According to the statement, both appointments are with immediate effect.
