A theologian and Bible scholar, Dr. Tayo Popoola, has identified the main factor why Moses succeeded in the ministry.

Speaking in a sermon on the occasion of the inauguration of the first executives of the fellowships in the church at the headquarters of the church in Mowe on Sunday titled : “Welcome to church Government ” , Dr. Popoola said God erected the prophetic ministry of Moses on the platform of those he called ” compelling helpers “.

He stated that from the onset of his ministry , God searched and recruited those to help him.

Dr. Popoola, the Spiritual Head of Divine Favour Prayer Assembly Ministries, stated that God built upon the foundation when Moses was to marry as God chose a compelling helper for him in the person of Jethro.

He told the congregation that there is no doubt that Jethro was a compelling helper going by the way he advised Moses on the need to appoint a set of capable leaders with fear of the Lord, men of truth, hating covetousness who would be rulers of thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

Popoola argued that Jethro stressed to Moses that his suggestion would go a along way in helping Moses if approved, adding that he alone cannot carry the burden of the congregation (Exo 18:13 -26).

Popoola congratulatulated all members of the fellowship executives and charged them to work for the progress of the church through their respective fellowship.
He stated that amongst them will emerge apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists and teachers.ln other words, the fellowships would serve as training ground for future leaders in the church.

He stated that each member of the executives will serve for a term of two years, subject to reappointment upon a satisfactory performance.
