Rotary Club of Onigbongbo to mark 40th anniversary

Rotary Club of Onigbongbo has announced plans to mark its 40th Anniversary.

The public is encouraged to save the evening of Thursday, September 22, 2022, for an anniversary lecture with the Rotary Club of Onigbongbo in District 9110.
Theme: 40 years of Fellowship and Service Above Self

The club said, in a statement, that the celebratory year will commence with donation of educational materials to schools within Onigbongbo community and relief materials to Onigbongbo Primary Health Center on 21st September 2022.
Other activities include Investiture of the Imaginative President Rtn. Razaq Adesina Babatunde Salau on September 24th 2022 which will take place at the District office at Ladoke Akintola Street, Ikeja GRA.

The 40th anniversary will continue through the year and will incorporate service projects in support of Maternal and Child Health, planet earth project, Water and Sanitation and Economic and Community Development.

Over the years, the Club was engaged in wide spread community services. Some of our activities include annual Christmas visits and donations medical needs to Yaba Psychiatric Hospital for the last 38 years, donation of items and sponsors of orphans at Red Cross Motherless Home at Makoko Iwaya, donation of World class Chemistry Laboratory to Immaculate Senior Secondary Senior at Maryland and donation of first class digital classroom to Wasinmi High School amongst many others.
