West Brom cuts Osaze’s transfer fees to £3m

osaze_odemwingieEnglish premiership league side, West Bromwich Albion, have accepted the plea of Nigeria star striker, Osaze Odemwingie, to leave the club on a transfer fee of 3million pounds instead of the earlier fixed price of 5millon ponds.

The Barclays English Premier League club disclosed that he is free to go at that price as long as the team who wants him meet the 3million pounds valuation,

The attacker courted controversy for most of the 2012/13 season; the most high profile being his failed attempt to force a move to now-relegated Queens Park Rangers.

The Baggies have now restated their desire to offload the striker with his prospective employers expected to fork out £3 million for his services.

Confirming this, WBA manager, Steve Clarke also revealed that as many as five other players will be following the 31-year-old Nigerian out of the exit door.

“Osaze can leave but for nothing less than £3 million,” Clarke said.

Odemwingie has scored 30 goals in 87 appearances for WBA since joining from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2010.
