Arsenal FC of England manager, Arsene Wenger, is keen on signing Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, who has attracted his attention.
Ighalo has been a revelation for English Premier League club, Watford this season, hitting 14 goals already in his first campaign in the top-flight.
“Arsene Wenger is keen on signing Watford goal-machine, Odion Ighalo, in a deal which wouldn’t go through until the summer.
“Wenger sees Ighalo as an ideal, cut-price alternative to Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and a relatively low-risk option considering his remarkable Premier League form.”
Ighalo also attracted interest from Spanish clubside, Atletico Madrid with the former La Liga champions reportedly ready to double the striker’s current wages if he opted on a move to the Vicente Calderon.
The forward also revealed last week that it would be a “dream” to play for Manchester United.
Ighalo scored 30 league goals in 2015.
