At the 28th Convocation Ceremony of Lead City University, Ibadan — one of Nigeria’s most outstanding private universities — Anne Temiloluwa Ojo-Lanre emerged as one of the distinguished scholars who proudly received the prestigious Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations.
The hall erupted in joy as her name was announced, marking the triumphant end of a long, disciplined and remarkable academic journey.

Temiloluwa began her educational path at Pacesetters Nursery and Primary School, Ibadan, where her brilliance, calm spirit and early signs of leadership made her stand out among her peers.
She proceeded to Our Lady and St. Francis Catholic College, Osogbo, a school known for excellence and moral grounding, where she further deepened her commitment to learning and self-improvement.
She later advanced to Bowen University, Iwo, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and receiving the celebrated award of “Most Sought-After Lady of Grace,” a recognition that affirmed her elegance, intellect, emotional maturity, and admirable interpersonal qualities.

Pursuing her passion in global affairs, she enrolled for a Master’s Degree in International Relations at Lead City University and, inspired by her thirst for deeper knowledge and academic distinction, continued straight into the PhD programme — a journey crowned with glory yesterday as she officially became Dr. Anne Temiloluwa Ojo-Lanre.

Temiloluwa’s success is rooted firmly in the educational heritage of her family.
Her mother, Mrs. Moyo Ojo-Lanre, a seasoned school principal, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Adeyemi University of Education and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Ibadan.
Her father, Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre, Director-General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, is an accomplished journalist, cultural diplomat, tourism advocate and legal practitioner.
His academic journey spans a Degree in History Education, a Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies, a Diploma in Journalism, and a Barrister-at-Law qualification.
Their combined influence created the nurturing environment that shaped Temiloluwa’s discipline, depth, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Those who know her describe Temiloluwa as responsible, diligent, resourceful, deeply cultured and exceptionally brilliant.
Her research reflects an emerging strength in cultural diplomacy, soft-power relations, and global peace studies — areas that place her at the intersection of Nigeria’s growing need for refined thinkers and culturally aware diplomats.
Mentors consistently speak of her analytical clarity, her impressive writing ability and her calm but firm diplomatic disposition.

Temiloluwa’s achievement is more than a personal victory; it is a testament to what perseverance, proper parenting, and dedication can produce.
At a time when Nigeria yearns for disciplined, intelligent, globally aware young minds, her story stands tall as an inspiration.
It reinforces the belief that the children raised with values today will become the voices shaping diplomacy, governance, and development tomorrow.

As she stepped forward to receive her doctorate yesterday, one thing was unmistakably clear: Nigeria has gained a new intellectual asset, Ekiti has gained a refined cultural ambassador, and the Ojo-Lanre family has added yet another shining feather to its illustrious cap.
Dr. Anne Temiloluwa Ojo-Lanre’s journey is a reminder that excellence remains possible, admirable, and worthy of celebration.
Congratulations to Dr. Temiloluwa — a rising star whose brilliance will illuminate many paths in the years ahead.
