Some passengers traveling from Iwo to Osogbo, Osun State for Osun-Osogbo festival, were ‘fleeced’ of tens of thousands of naira by some policemen at a checkpoint. A particular passenger transferred N50,000 while another traveller transferred N25,000 to accounts supplied by the policemen. Unfortunately for the policemen, the Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, in company of some state assembly lawmakers, were coming from Ile-Ogbo, Ayediire LG to attend a function and the passengers of the bus shouted for help.
