It was a pleasure today, as I joined distinguished dignitaries at the Naval Headquarters Conference Hall Abuja, for the Decoration, Handing/Taking over ceremony of the new Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla GSS.
The Chief of Naval Staff has grown through the ranks of the formidable Nigerian Navy and his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, is a call to greater national assignment and I am confident that his wealth of experience and professionalism will play vital role in the discharge of his duties.
I utilised the opportunity to once more, on behalf of the Government and good people of Imo State, congratulate my brother, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla GSS on his elevation as the Chief of Naval Staff.
