In preparation for the flag-off of the Uhie Project ’27 Campaign, I hosted the state, LGA and ward executive members of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), today, 28 September 2026, at the Uhie Project ’27 Campaign Office, Rethink Place, KM 4 (opposite Mekoloko Fuel Station), Abayi-Ohanze, New Umuahia Road, Obingwa LGA, Abia State.
Though the wet Monday weather tried to disrupt our meeting, we were not deterred. We remained focused, and what followed was a fruitful and purposeful engagement with our party leaders and executives.
The meeting reinforced our shared commitment to building a strong, united and grassroots-driven PDP campaign across Obingwa West and Abia State.
For us in Uhie Project ’27, the task is clear: take our message to every ward, every community and every household; engage our people directly; listen to their concerns; and earn their support through a campaign built on trust, service and accountability.
The political energy around Obingwa West gives us confidence as we mobilise for the 2027 election. Our goal is to build the broadest possible support for Enyinnaya Appolos for Obingwa West Constituency, while simultaneously strengthening the PDP structure and support base for Dr. Kelechi Anosike’s governorship campaign across Abia State.
We are not taking anything for granted. We know that elections are won through organisation, engagement, unity and the confidence of the people. That is why Uhie Project ’27 is beginning from the grassroots.
From Obingwa West to every part of Abia State, we are ready to work, mobilise and present our candidates to the people.
