Troops kill four terrorists, recover arms in Borno

Troops have killed four terrorists at Borno State College of Business Studies (BOCCOS) on Bama-Ngurosoye road.
Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman, the Director of Army Public Relations, said in a statement on Wednesday that the Boko Haram members met their Waterloo as troops on fighting patrol ambushed fleeing terrorists in the area.
Usman said one AK-56 Rifle, 60 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition; three AK-56 rifle magazines; one Boko Haram terrorists flag; five SIM cards and five bicycles were recovered from the insurgents.
Security operatives had on March 12 killed two suspected female suicide bombers in Maiduguri.
A statement by the spokesman of the Police Command in Borno, Victor Isuku, said the bombers were shot when they attempted to enter Maiduguri through the Umarari in Molai, near Damboa road.
Isuku said that only the two bombers died in the incident.
